Thymus vulgaris
Micro thyme flowers are very small in size and have thin light green stems with 2-3 teardrop leaves. The small leaves are dark green mixed with spots of purple, gray and light green and have a smooth texture with even edges. Micro thyme has a drier texture than other microgreens and can be a little fibrous, but can also be tender and crunchy depending on the growing climate. It has an earthy, herbaceous, sweet-spicy flavor, similar to that of cloves, with notes of mint and forest aromas.
