      Beans cannellino is a bean variety with a thin peel, of opaque white color through which ice-grey-colored veins can be seen. It is slightly kidney-shaped and is about 1-1.4 cm long. Beans cannellino are sowed in April and May in open fields and by creating furrows in the soil. They are harvested in July and August. Dried beans are harvested in September. It requires a medium-mixture soil, cool and well drained with organic fertilization. Beans cannellino does not grow well on a calcareous or clay and compact soil. Excellent to be consummated in legume soups or boiled as a side dish for cooked and roasted fish or white meats. Beans cannellino is rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3, calcium, phosphorus, zinc and vegetable proteins.
